Sea|mester: Day 6
By: Cole Timothy Lewis

Lots of diving today. We started off the morning with a fun dive with all the advance students. The visibility was pretty crappy, but we saw lots of cool fish and coral. Having Nick as a divemaster is hilarious. He makes a lot of effort to make everyone laugh and have a good time. On the next dive, Evan and I helped out Anne Marie (one of our mentors) on the open water student’s second open water dive. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching and helping out Joni, Yi, and Morgana. I helped them put on their equipment and with various things throughout the dive. It’s cool to see the ScubaNoobies becoming more and more comfortable in the water and they really seem to be catching on quick. Diving took up most of our day today as everyone completed two dives each. After dinner, we had our first marine biology class, taught by Anne Marie. I’m pretty excited to learn more about what I see on each dive. Should be a fun class. That’s all for today… until next time.
